Kroger VIP Error message - VIP Class vs PID class

Good morning team!

I have been trying to successfully submit an item in Kroger VIP and continue to receive error messages, which I have addressed.

The last one is regarding the Kroger Class Code.  The Display has 4 Eaches and of them had a different code (144 vs 092) and I changed it to match the rest.

However, I still received the same error message.  In speaking to the Kroger representative, she told me that there are times that the codes stay stuck in a loop between VIP and DIP (the back end program).

She suggested that I change the codes again and see what happens, which I did.  She also said that there is nothing else I can do on my end and that the distributor would need to contact their Kroger Category Manager to address the issue between them.

I just wanted to make sure that this is the only way to go on my end.  Thanks!

The Gtin I'm working on is 00071072003183.

Hello @nancyVigo , I am sorry this one has taken longer to get resolved.  I understand we do sometimes see issues when an item has multiple child Eaches all part of different classes.  Because the normal steps to resolve have not corrected this, yes, we recommend you ask your distributor to reach out to their contacts at Kroger including their category manager to confirm the class code for the Eaches you are trying to submit.  Once that is confirmed and updated, please let us know if you encounter any other issues.

No problem at all @nancyVigo and please keep us in the loop including what you learn here so we can document in the community for future reference.  Have a great weekend.

Hi Nancy,

Welcome back and always good to see you again! Let me take a quick peek and I can advise.

Thanks!

@jcharles , thanks so much!

Nancy,

Do you typically apply the Kroger Class Code to a Dispatch unit? Have you been able to successfully fit?

I do whenever I have to top off items.  Most of the time, the class code is already there.

Can you attempt to remove the Class from the Parent GTIN, see what response we get?

@jcharles , I just checked and it has a message that it is being processed.  Please, see previous error message and the current one attached.

If it still does not submit successfully, I will try your suggestion.

@jcharles, good morning!

I found a rejected message in VIP this morning and tried your suggestion, but it came back with the same error message as before (VIP 144 vs DIP 092).

Would you advise me to reach out to the distributor, as suggested by the Kroger rep, so they can contact their Category Manager?

This is the longest that I have had to work on a item in VIP so that it successfully submits.

Your expertise in this matter is greatly appreciated!

@CommunityJedi22 and @jcharles, thank you both so much for taking the time to help me with this issue and guide as to what steps to take next.

I will reach out to the distributor and go from there.

I hope you both have a fantastic day! 🙂
