Customers working to synchronize content with Kroger through the API process will require an "IMF". The IMF (Item Maintenance Form) is a Kroger-generated number and is assigned to the hierarchy once the item is successfully submitted to and synchronized with Kroger.

There are several different ways to locate the IMF in Item Management.

You can check the Sync Status Report and, if looking for a specific item, use the GTIN filter and “Expand All” options:

If your item has not been updated within the last 7 days, please remove the “Last Activity Date Range" filter:

As long as the Kroger Item Submission Reason Code is populated and the data corresponds to Kroger’s requirements, you will find the IMF number in the Sync Status Report as follows:

After updating items that have already received an IMF number from Kroger, you may notice the message “Item found in submitted status” instead of the IMF number. If this is the case, please check the Worklist for previous updates for the same GTIN.

If you are unable to locate the item, please expand the search time frame using the Worklist time filters.

Once you have located your item, you can use the “Expand All” option and then search for “IMF” (using CTRL+F on PC and Command+F on Mac) to find the IMF:

An IMF will be assigned after the item is SYNCRHONISED with both the Kroger API Certification Queue and the Certified Items for Kroger API queue.
