I am running into an error when cloning a new item from a similar item in our catalog. I can't seem to move past these two errors even though the data matches the exact product I cloned it from, and that item does not have these errors.

Caroline,
The GTIN has been removed and you can try to clone the GTIN again.
Let me know if you run into any trouble.

Hi @Caroline_Lahn ! Thanks for reaching out in the Community. So that we can look further into what is triggering this error, could you provide the GTIN that is showing that error?

Yes! It is technically a new item so it is not published yet: 00707704920251

Hi Caroline,
I am looking at GTIN 00707704920251 and I can see that you have cleared the nutritional errors.
Is there anything else we can assist with?

Hello @Caroline_Lahn Yes, you can easily clone items in IM. Take a look at this Quick Sheet and let us know if this helps...

Hi - sorry if that was confusing. I already cloned a like item. My issue is now that new item that I cloned does not have ANY content from the like item in it. So, now, I have a new item with no content and I do not want to have to input content in order to publish it. But with the new item as a draft - can I redo the clone or do I need to purge the item and start all over?

Caroline,
I can try to remove the GTIN since it is still in Draft status, we can remove the GTIN from Item Management. I will not be able to do this once you register a GTIN with the Global Registry.
Just let me know and I can try to remove the GTIN and then you can try the cloning again.

Yes, let's try that!! I can start over once the item has been removed from Drafts.
