Hi/Ti population error

Hello, I am receiving the following error message and I can't work out what I've done wrong. Please see two attached photos. I have both of the fields populated, but it's saying that I don't. How can I get this corrected? Thank you!

WARNING: On the highest hierarchy level both Number of Layers per non-GTIN Pallet/Non GTIN Pallet Hi (nonGTINPalletHi) and Number of Units per Layer in a non-GTIN Pallet/Non GTIN Pallet Ti (nonGTINPalletTi) must be populated.

Hi Christy welcome to our online community!

I can see how this might be confusing to figure out. The TI X HI should equal what you have in the Total Count of All Products.

The number of case on the pallet are 24, but the TI X HI is totaling 224? The numbers will need to match to get past the validation.

Please let me know if I can expand on any points above.

@jcharles Thank you so much for your help! I'm still struggling to get this to all match up. I have attached two photos. This is a simple hierarchy where their are 12 eaches per case. 98 cases per non-gtin pallet. What am I doing wrong? Thank you again!

Hello,@christyklg and welcome back

The validation error is caused by the Total Count of All Products on the Case. The attribute refers to how many next lower level items you have inside a Case, so it should be 12, please:

Once you update and save, you should no longer be getting the "Your parent and child direct link quantities should match" hierarchy validation error.

Here is an article from our Community that covers the Total Count attribute and Hierarchy Information section in more detail for you: Total Count of All Products - Qty Next Level Items - Hierarchy Link Quantities

Please let us know if there is any additional information I can provide you with.

@Val_P I simply can't thank you enough for your guidance. I have read the article and feel like I'm getting closer but it's not matching on my other case pack of 3 levels. I have a case of 24 eaches total (2 inner displays of 12 eaches).

Is the problem coming from the count of specific item on the non-gtin pallet? Is that what's throwing this off? I don't see how the math of 2 x 12 isn't adding up to 24.

Hello @christyklg, it's lovely talking to you again.

Please review the example from the article provided relating to Pallet / Case / Each hierarchy as it is the most similar to yours. I will attach it and use it as an example below:

Julie_0-1713540536167.png

In your scenario, the Case contains 2 Displays and each Display contains 12 Eaches.

When creating this hierarchy, the link quantity between the Case and Display would be 2 and the link quantity between the Case and Each would be 12.  There would be nothing linked below the Each.

The Total Count of All Products on the Case would be 2, on the Display it would be 12 and on the Each it would be 1. Thank you.
