Configure Asset Publication Template
Once your items have been shipped in for foodservice start by configuring your Asset publication template so when the products are published to your product index they will keep their GS1 naming conventions.
- Click on the Configurations tab.
- Click Asset Publication Template.
- Type in an Asset Publication Template Name.
- Select one or more Asset Template Attributes.
- Select Asset Template Naming Convention.
- Ensure template is toggled to Enabled.
- Save Changes.
What is the Marketplace?
Once a product has been verified, the content for that product is auto-published to the Marketplace. Here, brands and retailers can view, search, filter, or download Syndigo Verified content.
Create a Customized View in Marketplace
Data in Marketplace is displayed in a default grid, but columns can be added, modified, or deleted to display a more useful set of information to you. Once the customized view is applied, it will be the default view every time you visit the Marketplace Index page.
Access Marketplace
- Navigate to the Marketplace tab.
- Display your items in Grid view or List view by clicking the Grid or List icons on the right side of the page.
Manage Columns
- In the lefthand navigation panel, hover over the ... icon and click Marketplace.
- Click Manage Columns.
- Use the View dropdown menu to select a predefined set of columns to begin with. Choose the Customized View option to create your own set from scratch.
- Use the dropdown menus in each column to find the information type you want to be displayed in that column.
- To add a new column, click Add New Column to add up to six columns.
- To move columns, click, hold, and drag the six-dot icon on each label.
- To delete a column, click the X icon.
- When finished, click Apply.
Search and/or Filter Marketplace Products
To search for a single piece of content, use the search bar in the Marketplace Index. Search by Product Name, or UPC. The search results will show any content that contains all or part of the search term(s).
Apply Filters
Filters help narrow down a product list to view or work with specific group of products within the Syndigo Marketplace. Filter by Unique ID Values, Manufacturer, Supplier, Brand, or Updated Date.
- In the lefthand navigation panel, hover over the ... icon and click Marketplace.
- Click Add Filter.
- Select a filter from the Filter menu.
- Select or enter the associated filter option. For Unique ID filters, choose the desired ID to filter by (UPC). Then copy and paste a list of the IDs to be filtered. For other filter options, select one or more options from the dropdown menu. The Attribute filters show products that have the chosen value populated.
- Click Apply Filter to view the products that meet the applied filters.
- Add more filters to narrow down the search.
"Searching" for Multiple UPCs
Users can apply a Unique ID filter to recall a specific list of UPCs (regardless of digit length).
- In the lefthand navigation panel, hover over the ... icon and click Marketplace.
- Click Add Filter.
- Under the Product Context menu, click the Unique ID dropdown.
- Select the Unique ID Value that you wish to search.
- To search a list of UPCs with varying digit lengths, select the UPC - All Digit Lengths option.
- Copy/paste a list of UPCs.
- Click Apply Filter to view the products that meet the applied filters.
- Add more filters to narrow down the search.
