The purpose of this article is to outline all of the required steps a Syndigo user must complete in order to successfully publish Core Syndication data through the Syndigo Platform. We recommend following the steps outlined below for streamlined product setup for both new and existing items.

 

Account Setup (One Time Actions)

 

Steps for New Item Syndication

  1. Create new item with unique identifier assigned.
  2. Link item to recipient(s).
  3. Add a product category.
    • This is only required for certain recipients. If you are not sending content to a recipient who requests categories, you do not need to complete this step.
  4. Fill out product data to 100% readiness.
  5. Publish the item.
  6. Track and manage publications until items are successfully “Synchronized” by the recipient(s).
  7. Monitor the item’s Live status using our Live Status Tracker.
    • Please note this is currently only available for select recipients.

 

Steps for Existing Item Syndication

  1. Link existing item to recipient(s).
  2. Add a product category.
    • This is only required for certain recipients. If you are not sending content to a recipient who requests categories, you do not need to complete this step.
  3. Confirm item readiness is at 100% readiness score according to Core Syndication recipient’s unique requirement set.
  4. Publish the item.
  5. Track and manage publications until items are successfully “Synchronized” by the recipient(s).
  6. Monitor the item’s Live status using our Live Status Tracker.
    • Please note this is currently only available for select recipients.

 

Steps for Manually Configured Recipients

  1. Set up your Manually Configured Recipient.
  2. Create your Distribution.
  3. Publish to your Manually Configured Recipient.
