IMF#?

We have submitted our test file to Kroger/Fred Meyer. The item is and has been registered with WERCS. The WERCS required registration has been reported to Kroger (6/4). We have validated and submitted successfully. But Kroger is asking for a IMF# that we haven't yet received. When should we expect to receive the IMF#?

I didn't realize I needed to make an additional click to view the comments. I thought you were referencing the Message Center as Comments. I understand now. Thank you for the visual.

Hello @Jessica-Verge and thanks for reaching out!

Your item is currently still In Process - Supplier, please submit your item to Kroger so it can be reviewed by them again and if nothing else is missing/incorrect they will provide you with the IMF which can be found in the comments section

I've also attached the Kroger VIP - Reference Manual for GDSN Information Providers where you can find additional information about item submission and the responses you can receive back. The subchapters that would interest you are 3.4.3 Submitting the Hierarchy and 3.5 Troubleshooting. Thanks!

No IMF number was given in comment field. I was not able to find a reason in the comments why the item was not accepted. Item has been validated and resubmitted.

You have not received an IMF because your WERCS registration is incomplete, as indicated in the comment.

  • 10037321020063:CIC999:Item Returned for Review:VENDOR TO RESUBMIT|The product hierarchy was rejected because it is not registered in WERCS or additional action is required to complete WERCS registration. Please log in to WERCS to initiate the required actions. Once WERCS registration is complete, you may resubmit. Questions? Call WERCS Customer Support at 877-642-6753 or visit https//www.thekrogerco.com/vendors-suppliers/regulatory-compliance-assessment-wercs/. The following item does not appear to be set up properly in WERCS 0003732102006

Please follow the instructions provided in the comment and contact WERCS Customer Support to complete your registration. You will not receive an IMF until this is done.

 

I was told this item was registered, I will follow up. Also, I do not see the comment you reference on my end under messages. Where can I find this comment in the system?

WERCS is sending or sent it and is waiting for Kroger to receive/accept it.  WERCS item number, 1700492, on your end.  Unfortunately, there is nothing more I can do on my end.

Hello @Jessica-Verge

Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with the approval for WERCS. These comments are generated by Kroger's system, Venus.

I recommend reaching out to your Kroger Category Manager for assistance in getting WERCS accepted. Until Kroger approves the WERCS submission, you will continue to receive the same error.

Once Kroger has accepted your WERCS submission, you can submit your GTIN to receive your IMF.
