Using one flattened image to populate Rich content-Pros and Cons

Hello,

Like all users I have been creating rich content using the different modules - text and imagery combinations.

What I'm wondering can you just create one large image and upload to use as your content. I think I know the con being that its not searchable.

Hi @cmoore1 thank you for reaching out

It is possible to create a page that uses a single large image, as the portal doesn’t restrict you from doing this. However, we generally advise against relying on one full‑image layout.

As a best‑practice guideline, we recommend using around 3–5 different modules. This helps ensure your content is more flexible, responsive, and engaging.

There are also important accessibility considerations: when all text is embedded inside an image, screen readers can’t interpret it. Including real text modules helps keep your content accessible to all users and ensures your messaging is searchable.

Additionally, if everything is flattened into one image, you lose reporting insights you’d normally get from individual modules (e.g., clicks, hotspot interactions, video play etc.)

Thank you for your response, it confirms what I thought might be the issues using one flattened image.
