Trouble Linking Items

Hello,

I am trying to "Link" my items, but an error message popped up. 

We sale our product by the case.

For the current item below, I am trying to link (160-2oz dough drops inside each case), but I cannot save/update hierarchy, because we do not sale by "each dough drop" only by the case and the same SKU. 

What should I do?

You would have to have a GTIN for those individual each that belong in that case. You can just publish the case by itself if there are no GTIN applied to the each items.

Does the recipient pull those each out and sell them individually?
