Possible Glitch with Search Bar

Good afternoon team!

I have encountered a possible glitch with the search bar.  I was trying to find certain items that I need to discontinue, but, as I would enter each Gtin in the search bar and clicked on the search icon, it would show the message "no records found."

Then, I entered part of the descriptions and all the items showed up.

I also tried typing the Gtin (instead of copy and paste them) and click on the Enter button on my keyword (instead of clicking on the search icon) and I was able to find them that way.

I have attached screen shots showing all these steps.

Hello @nancyVigo,

I looked for the item(s) you have mentioned and it appears that  those items have already been discontinued as they have a discontinued date filled in:

If you want those items to show up you would need to select the Discontinued Items option under the advanced search and have it as yes otherwise you will not see those items:

Can you pinpoint for me where you entered the GTIN number and searched?

@jcharles, good morning!  I attached a screen shot of where I do the searches, which is at the top on the Dashboard, then click on the search icon (the magnifying glass).
