Change GTIN Name to a published item

If I published an item and notice that the weight in the description and "Weight and Dimensions" field are incorrect, can I change that info in IM? If yes, do I need to publish the item again or will it automatically change the info in Product Introduction?

Welcome to the Community. Yes, these fields can be updated. When updating certain attributes the system will prompt the publication to be deleted. 

There is a way to delete the publication.  You can do this in Item Management by going to Manage Publications > Search for the GTIN(s) > Click the box in the appropriate row > Click the DELETE PUBLICATION button for the correct recipient > Close the confirmation window.

Once complete please update the desired attributes in this case your Weights & Dimensions and publish the item as NEW to the recipient.
