Unlinking the EACH from the CASE if all items are Inactive

Good afternoon team!

I tried looking for the answer to my question in the Community, but was unable to find it.

I learned here that we have to withdraw/delete all publications before unlinking hierarchies that affect items attached to different displays/cases.

My question is: Do I have to unlink the Each from the Display and Case if both of them will become inactive?

Here are the Gtins I'm working on: 10071072001186 and 00071072001196.

Thanks in advance!

Hello, @nancyVigo, it’s good chatting with you again!

The EACH must be unlinked from 10071072001186 or 00071072001196 if you have to link a different child/EACH GTIN to these.

If these two parent GTINs will be unpublished /discontinued instead, you can decide if you want to unlink the hierarchies. Having the EACH level linked to these two GTINs will not impact the ability to link the same EACH to other parent GTINs, to other hierarchies that do not contain this Case or Display.

Hope this helps and please don't hesitate to let us know if you have additional questions!
