Kroger item reject

Good morning,

I had to make a change to an item for Kroger, and now it is being rejected.

It is validating, but I'm not sure why it is being rejected.

We already have an IMF for it so I'm not sure what to do.

Below is a screen shot of the message.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I ended up speaking with Monica and she helped me figure it out. There was a glitch in the system, and she was getting with tech support to get that issue resolved. It was saying our item was validated, when it was not. It was missing a required attribute. Our item has successfully been published to Kroger.

Thanks!

I had the old Kroger API in for the Marketing message so I changed it to the certified GLN.

Hopefully this will do the trick.

Thanks!

Hello @A_Flower and welcome back.

Even if it is just an update, it still needs to meet the Kroger Style Guide Requirements. You can consult the documentation we have on this topic  Kroger PDP Guidelines - Quick Reference for Style Guide & More.   You would need to republish it after doing that Republishing in Item Management and then after it gets synchronised, to publish it to the certified Kroger API GLN as it was only sent to the Kroger API Certification Queue. You can look at the advanced guide we have on the entire process Slides for the 201 Advanced IM for Kroger API Workshop.

Thank you and have a great day

So, are you saying after every update I make to an item (whether small or large) I need to republish to the Kroger Certified Items GLN and wait for it to sync and then publish to the Kroger API certification GLN?

Hello @A_Flower and thank you for the follow-up.

You need to publish to both API GLNs only for items that have not been submitted through the API process yet. If you have an item successfully published through PI/VIP previously and you now need to update it, it first needs to be published to the Certification Queue (withouth an Item Submission Reason Code for it to not get a new IMF from Kroger) and then, once Synchronized, to Certified Items. If you need to update this same item in the future (so it is already submitted through API to Kroger), you make the changes and Save in Item Management, no other change or (Re)Publish is necessary.

In a nutshell, you only need to publish to both GLNs for items not previously submitted to Kroger through the API process.

I hope this helps. We will be here for you for any other questions or clarifications, please. Thank you.

All of our items have been published through both API GLN's. That's why I'm so confused.

The item is in reject, yet it says no action needed.

Is the most recent issue for item 20030800001895, please @A_Flower?

Thank you.

Hello @A_Flower

Thank you for your reply.

Your item 20030800001895 has been published to the Kroger API Certification Queue, but it has never synchronized. Even though this item received an IMF from Kroger in Product Introduction, you will still need to make sure that it is compliant with the new Kroger requirements, therefore it will need to pass the Certification.

This being said, if you already corrected the item according to the Kroger PDP Guidelines, please republish your item as New from Publications > Manage Publications. If you do not need an IMF to be generated, please leave the Item Submission Reason Code blank.

Once your item is Synchronized with the Kroger API Certification Queue, you can publish it to the second GLN 0838016000116 (Certified Items for Kroger API).

Please let us know if you have additional questions about this, and we will be happy to help.

Thank you and have a lovely day!
