Error Message - Wakefern

nancyVigo

Good morning team!

I am trying to publish an item to Wakefern and I'm getting a number of error messages, including the one on the attached screen shot.

This item is a Balsamic Reduction and it's asking for a Grape Variety Code.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @nancyVigo and thank you for the update. My suggestion in this case is to raise a ticket with our Techincal Support team please for us to be able to assist further with your specific errors as these can have different root causes, including Playlists or dependant attributes.

Also another option is to undo your most recent action(s) in Item Management and, once you revert back to the previous Grape Variety error only, then search for and remove the Ingredient Country of Origin and Ingredient Place of Activity if previously added.

For more details about how to raise a ticket from the Community, please see our article here.

Thank you and please let us know if this helped.

@Val_P, thanks again for all the help. I will proceed with a ticket to see if we can promptly resolve this issue since the broker needs this item published asap.

Have a great afternoon!

Hello @nancyVigo, it's great chatting with you again!

On the Case, please switch to the Wakefern Foods playlist instead of the regular Wakefern one (so you can remove the Wakefern one, please). After you validate, please also correct the 2 warnings:

Please also add the Wakefern Foods playlist on the Each, validate and solve the warnings below:

If your product does not have a Coupon Family Code, you can bypass the warning by typing "000" (the number zero, not the letter "O" please) in the corresponding field.

After saving both Case and Each, please Republish the Case as New from Publications - Manage Publications - to make sure Wakfern receives the most recent version of your item's data.

For Wakefern we also have helpful Attribute and Implementation Guides here https://1worldsync.com/trading-partners/wakefern/. However, using the playlist will be significantly easier for you as Item Management will point out any attributes that need to be added for your specific type of product - food related item, in this case.

Please let us know of this helped or if there is anything else we may help with for this request. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Hello @nancyVigo and welcome back to the community. Always a pleasure to chat with you!

The error is caused by an attribute added in the FoodAndBeverageIngredient. Adding attributes in this section creates a dependency and makes Grape Variety Code become mandatory, even if the attribute is not related to or needed on your item.

Here is an article describing this error and where to look for the attributes that need to be left blank, please: Troubleshooting IM - FoodAndBeverageIngredient - ingredientName or grapeVarietycode

Please also make sure the Ingredient Country of Origin and Ingredient Place of Activity are left blank.

Please let us know if this helped or if you come across any other related errors. Thank you!

@Val_P, hello!

I did what the article recommends and I got even more error messages, which I've never encountered before.

Please, see screen shot attached.

Thanks!

@Val_P, good afternoon!

I published and item to Wakefern (Gtin 10071072003074) as "new," which our broker needs to have synchronized asap.

Everything seemed fine after I published with a "Received" status.

However, I noticed today that I had a "Review" status and added the Wakefern playlist to try to take care of the warnings.

I am attaching screen shots showing the warnings, the Alternate Item ID attribute (which is already filled out) and the External File Link area (which is all blank).  Since there's a limit of 3 attachments, I could not show the one about the UN Dangerous Goods Number (I'm not sure why they're asking for this since the item is a baked good).

Thanks so much for your help!

@Val_P, you are the best!  As you suggested, I picked the Wakefern Foods playlist and addressed all the issues, as well as republishing the item as "new."

Have a great afternoon! 🙂
