Delete items with wrong GTINs

I have entered several items that had GTIN numbers that are duplicates of other products we sell. I have reentered the items with the correct GTINs, but I cannot find a way to delete or discontinue the incorrectly identified items. I simply need to delete these entries, but NOT permanently delete the GTINs in any other database since these numbers apply to other products that have not yet been added in IM. There was simply an error. How can I get these items deleted?

Thank you.

I did see that, but it doesn't quite fit the situation. These items are not published. The GTINs are not yet registered with the global registry. We are not ready to submit them. So, we do not want to have them submitted to them or anyone else for permanent deletion. We have active products with those GTINs and need to keep and use them. It was only that the numbers were somehow copied from one item setup in our system to another item setup and no one realized they both had the same number until they were entered in IM. I just need the incorrect lines deleted. No more than that. How can we make this happen? If I submit the items to be removed, can you do only that and not send them to anyone else? What would I need to say to make only that happen? Thank you.

Hi @nj73 nice to speak to you in the Community. This is the process we have to remove GTINs in Item Management. If the requested GTINs are not in the Global Registry they would not have them to remove, this would just be removing them from Item Management. Please be sure that you are giving the information requested in the GTIN delete request as we would be removing just that instance of GLN/GTIN/TM no other instances of the GTIN would be removed.
