Why can't I save and move on?

Hello,

I'm trying to put in a brand new package.  I am cloning from a close package in size.  I don't think that matters, except, maybe there is something blocking me from moving on that I don't see?  This item will be published to Albertsons when I'm done, but, for now, I can't seem to save it, and move on from the error message it's giving me.  It did not save the many times I tried to save it?  What's the problem if you can see from the back side?

The 2 Gtins are:  00613008764050 will be the case, and the pallet, which, I can leave out..is : 00613008764111. My GLN is: 0613008000004.

I put in all new information.  Then when I hit to save it all...this is the error I got.  The first one I worked on was pallet, i figured, ok, I'll move on.  I do know, once you start, you are stuck with that record.  I can't delete and start from scratch.  Yet, I can't figure out why it's stuck.  I have been here before, but many years ago.  What's stopping me? More importantly, I could let the pallet sit, and would like to work on the case level 00613008764050.

What do you see? Please and Thank you!    This is the copy of the error message.

Hello @jackieb,

It's good chatting with you again.

This error is triggered when trying to change the Global Product Category Code (GPC) for an item that has not yet registered with GS1's Global Registry (GR). The registration usually takes a couple of minutes, but it might take a lot longer, depending on the volume of transactions sent to the Global Registry at the time. Until the new GPC information is registered, GTIN changes can be saved for all other attributes except the GPC field. To avoid this error, you can clone items that will have the same GPC, if possible.

For 00613008764050 in particular, the GTIN has now been registered with GPC 10000265, so you should be able to send a correction to this attribute at this time, then wait for it to register again. Registration statuses and GR responses can be checked under the "Item Registration Status" attribute set of the GTIN and in the  WORKLIST (GDSNITEMREGISTRYRESPONSE Events), respectively.

Hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to reply here with additional questions.

Thank you
