Can we link one product to multiple hierarchies?

I am having trouble publishing case items and units in multiple hierarchies. Let me explain: I need to link my product cases to the units that will go in my display, but they are also linked to a pallet item, which seems to be causing a problem.

Does anyone know of a simple solution to this problem?
