As part of the Item Management (IM) 8.61 release on May 24, 2025, the Global Product Classification (GPC) codes listed below will be deleted from IM, as they have been removed from the GDSN standard.
- 10002535 Hardwood Lumber (Dimension/Structural)
- 10003935 Mouldings – Wood
- 10003980 Ceiling Coverings - Paneling/Tiles
- 10005355 Softwood Board
- 10006732 Lawn/Garden Insecticides / Pesticides
If you have items belonging to your organization that are currently populated with one of these GPC codes, we recommend you update these items to valid GPC codes immediately to continue successfully synchronizing with your recipients after the May 2025 release.
All of these GPC Bricks have a migration path to an existing GPC Brick. Migration recommendations can be found in the Community HERE.
Please note, if you fail to make the change to a new GPC Brick for your items, 1WorldSync will update the item with these GPC codes to 99999999 Temporary Classification just before the IM 8.61 Production release to prevent any negative impact on your GTIN’s registration status.
