Withdrawing a publication and reassignedGTIN from Case to Each and need to relink them.

I needed to flip my GTIN number from case to each and visa versa.  I withdrew the Publication and waited 25 hours to make the correction.   I now want to link the new GTIN each to the new GTIN case but still pull up the GTIN for each as a hierarchy.  Should I delete the item and start all over?
