Hello,
We have an item that we once were selling, Kroger discontinued the item, then we started shipping it to them again. We had to change the UPC/GTIN and price when they reordered the discontinued item. They advised us we would need to submit to them a change form with the updated information (e.g. UPC changing from this UPC to this UPC, price changing from this $ to this $, etc) rather than submitting the item into 1WolrdSync/VIP. However, we now have no GTIN to attach images and content to in VIP. When I asked our merchandising team, they stated they had no knowledge of 1WorldSync and could not help. How do we get content to the merchandising team without the GTIN in 1WorldSync/VIP?
Thanks!

Hello @carolhunn, I am follow-ing up on my previous comment. Any chosen Item Submission Reason Code will generate a new IMF, therefore we can recommend leaving this blank and listing/publishing the hierarchy as Initial Load (Current). This will allow you to update the item information with Kroger without a new IMF. Thanks!

Hi @carolhunn, thanks for reaching out again! For an item to be updated and maintained it usually does need to be in our system or another system that the item is uploaded into. To confirm, Kroger requests the new GTIN not be published to them via Product Introduction?

Hi @Montavio - yes, that is correct. The original item was published in Product Introduction, and is still visible there. But since the GTIN changed when we reinstated the item, they then had me submit a change form as an excel document. The admin then processed that change internally, which then changed the old GTIN into the new GTIN. They said they do it this way so their internal SKU can stay the same. If I were enter the new item into PI, they would then have a new SKU.
I guess I will just wait and see what the content team from Kroger says in response to the issue. They gave us new image and content standards, prompting us to update all of our items. But this one we can't update unless we attach the image and content to the old GTIN.
Thanks!

@carolhunn, I would recommend reaching out to Koger directly regarding these updates. Unfortunately, we would not be able to advise on or help update a version of the item that is not in our systems. If after reaching out to Kroger you have further questions for us, please let us know. Thanks!

Hello @Montavio Can you please help confirm how to update an image in PI.
I am aware we need to update in IM but how should we resubmit, since its already in PI, would it be New or Initial Load?

Hello @Elina,
Welcome to the 1WS Kroger Community!
Is this an existing item with Kroger, and are you simply updating the images?
If so, there’s no need to republish. Just update your images, save the changes, then click the ellipsis in the top-right corner and select 'Resend.'
This will update the images on the Kroger VIP side, allowing you to resubmit with Kroger Item Submission Reason code left blank.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out!

We are newly adding these items to Kroger.
We attempted the resend and as you would figure it did not work.

Hello @Elina,
When you mention "newly adding images," have you synced your item to Kroger and successfully submitted it in VIP? This was the key point I highlighted in my previous message.
If this is a new item, it will need to be submitted as NEW.
Could you please share your GTIN so we can review?

No, we have not yet submitted in PI/VIP.
Sure thing, please see the item in question GTIN - 05060148522944

Hello @Elina,
Thank you for providing your GTIN.
Upon review, I see that you’ve published at the CASE level, and the images have been updated for both the CA and EA levels. The next step is to complete the Kroger top-off information in Kroger VIP and submit it as NEW.
Since the item was published at the CASE level, you will need to enter the Ti/Hi information before submitting.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out. I also recommend reviewing our Kroger Training Videos for guidance on the process.
