Hello,
We have an item that we once were selling, Kroger discontinued the item, then we started shipping it to them again. We had to change the UPC/GTIN and price when they reordered the discontinued item. They advised us we would need to submit to them a change form with the updated information (e.g. UPC changing from this UPC to this UPC, price changing from this $ to this $, etc) rather than submitting the item into 1WolrdSync/VIP. However, we now have no GTIN to attach images and content to in VIP. When I asked our merchandising team, they stated they had no knowledge of 1WorldSync and could not help. How do we get content to the merchandising team without the GTIN in 1WorldSync/VIP?

Hello @Montavio - Unfortunately, we still have this issue. We have items that went through UPC changes, I submitted a change form via their provided excel form, and they processed the changes on their side. They are now requesting images in 1WorldSync, something we cannot do because the new UPC is not in 1WorldSync anywhere. How do we resolve this? They keep asking us to contact 1WorldSync because they do not have access to any item information. It's a vicious cycle between Kroger and 1WorldSync and we are stuck in the middle. Wish there was a resolution. Someone else has to have had this issue somewhere with no resolution as well. This makes no sense.

Thank you for utilizing our community!
The only way to update images on the 1WorldSync side is by adding the items to the system; there isn’t an alternative path to send the data to Kroger. If Kroger won’t accept the images in the same way they accepted your item information previously, then the only effective solution is to add the items into the system and submit them as existing products.,

@Maria This is exactly what Kroger is telling me:
"Unfortunately we don't have control over anything in 1WorldSync. To confirm, you're unable to edit the old GTINs in 1WS? It sounds like you should be able to edit the submission to include the new GTINs. If not, I would try contacting customer service again to see if they have any other suggestions."

@Maria - it sounds like they want me to set up the items in 1WorldSync without an IMF in order for the new GTINs to be in 1WorldSync. If I use the "CASE GTIN CHANGE ONLY" reason for my submission, would that generate an IMF? I'm so confused as to how to do this. Kroger is telling me there is a way but doesn't know how. And then anyone from 1WorldSync is telling me there is no way without a new submission.

Hello @carolhunn, thank you for the follow-up.
If no IMF is needed, you can submit your hierarchy as Initial Load (Current) in Product Introduction and leave the Submission Reason Code blank. I am waiting for confirmation whether submitting it with a "CASE GTIN CHANGE ONLY" reason will generate a new IMF or not and will keep you posted as soon as I have more information available. Thanks!

Hello @carolhunn, I am follow-ing up on my previous comment. Any chosen Item Submission Reason Code will generate a new IMF, therefore we can recommend leaving this blank and listing/publishing the hierarchy as Initial Load (Current). This will allow you to update the item information with Kroger without a new IMF. Thanks!

@Val_P - Does this cause the item to not sync to VIP? I'm not seeing where it is showing in the Sync Status report, but it shows in the Worklist it was added. How do I finish off the item so I can get it to Kroger? Thanks.

Can you please help us with the GTIN you need to update for Kroger? If only a resubmission from Product Introduction is needed, this may not be reflected in the Item Management reports. Thanks!

I also want to mention that this is a NEW item in 1WorldSync, but is NOT a new item in Kroger systems since they did the GTIN change on their end already. Hope that makes sense.
