Good morning team!
I was updating an item in 1WS to include the new FSMA204 requirements and noticed that there are differences from the chart provided after the webinar on March 13th, 2025 to what I currently see in 1WS. The attributes not mentioned during the webinar that I now see on the website are: Regulatory Agency, Regulatory Act Compliance Level Code (where I picked "Exempt") and Regulation Community Level Code.
The one I cannot find on the website, which was mentioned during the webinar is: Regulation Restrictions and Descriptors (NOT_COVERED_BY_FTL or KILL_STEP_APPLIED).
Thanks in advance for your guidance in this matter.

Hello @nancyVigo , thanks for continuing the use of the community.
I have reviewed your request, and I would like to bring to your attention the attributes you should consider for your items, depending on whether they comply with the FSMA204 guidelines. These details are outlined in the attached article, which also provides the appropriate values to select based on the specific circumstances of each item:
Food Safety and Modernization Act FSMA204
If you may encounter issues in finding the mentioned attributes in Item Management, please make sure to use the Food and Beverages Products playlist, and that will reveal them.
I have also attached a helpful screenshot of the attribute you were having a bit of trouble finding in Item Management:
Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

Hello @nancyVigo, thank you for your reply! All the required attributes for the Food Safety and Modernization Act FSMA204 can be found under the Regulatory Information section. By activating the Food and Beverages Playlist, you will be able to find all the attributes you are looking for.
When it comes to the value you need for the Regulation Restrictions and Descriptors, it needs to be completed manually as there are no drop-down options, and the value needs to be filled out exactly as the article says, based on the product you have.
Regulation Restrictions and Descriptors- Enter text value to denote the reason FSMA204 is not
applicable to the product
• NOT_COVERED_BY_FTL
• KILL_STEP_APPLIED
Thank you and Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

Hello @nancyVigo, it is great chatting with you again. Also thank you for the additional comments.
In general, to take care of the FSMA204 requirements, just adding the Food and Beverage Products playlsit is sufficient for all 4 mandatory attributes to be visible. After adding the FSMA-related information, you can then remove the playlist because, as you also pointed out, it adds more attribute requirements and these may not be requested by all retailers.
As longs as the information added is valid, then the populated fields were correctly filled out.
Please let us know if this helped or if there is anything else we may assist with for this request. Thank you and looking forward to chatting with you again!

@nancyVigo, thank you for the follow-up and for the explanation.
I am glad to hear you have found a workaround for the issue encountered. Sometimes, if a FUSE upload is failing due to only one or a few items, it may be easier to remove that or those items from the file and manually add the data in Item Management until you find the reason for the failure.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions and we would be delighted to help where needed. Thanks!

@Theo, thanks for the prompt response! I am attaching a screen shot of the article where I still can't find the current required attributes on the website: Regulatory Agency, Regulatory Act Compliance Level Code (where I picked "Exempt") and Regulation Community Level Code.
Also, I cannot find this on the website (which is on the article): Regulation Restrictions and Descriptors (NOT_COVERED_BY_FTL or KILL_STEP_APPLIED).
Thanks!

@Maria, thanks for the clarification.
I am attaching a screen shot of the attributes for an item that I'm trying to update. I did pick "Not Applicable" instead of "False" since it was on the Webinar chart.
Please, let me know if everything looks okay so that I can save it and proceed to other items.
Thanks!

@Val_P, thanks for the prompt response and advising us on how to take care of these requirements.
My plan is to click on the playlist right away, add the required attributes for FSMA204 and save the item. Then, I will go back to the item, remove the playlist and finish the rest of the attributes.
Have a great afternoon!
