Weight Error for Publishing Case Item

Been trying to publish a Case item GTIN (20041483044017) to a customer but keep getting the following error messages:

1) 20041483044017:NetWeight of parent item must be greater than or equal to the sum of the NetWeight of the child items

2) Gross Weight (grossWeight) of the GTIN MUST BE greater than 96% of the sum of that GTIN’s packagingWeight if available, plus the sum of the Gross Weight (grossWeight) of all next lower-level child items. NOTE: This allowance of 4% in the sum, is due to some configurations where part of the packaging of child items is removed, such as in displays.

I understand what they are mentioning and have had my weights and measures person review for errors and not seeing the error. Also compared to similar Case GTIN (20041483003250) and it publishes fine. Not sure how to fix the error. Much help is appreciated.

Hello,

Welcome to the Community! I've reviewed your weights within your hierarchy and they seem to calculate correctly however, your Unit Of Measure is causing an error. The "Each" level shows to be measured in Pounds and the "Case" level is measured in Ounces. Once the UOM is corrected the error should resolve.

Thanks!

Hello, @voppedisano Thank you for reaching out to our customer community. Welcome.

Can you take a look at this post we created to see if that helps with this error for you? https://community.1worldsync.com/t5/IM-Knowledge/Dynamic-Assortment-Gross-Weight-Validation-Error/ta

Hi @voppedisano

Welcome back to our online community.

Your case gross weight is 80 lbs

80 divided by the number of consumer units in the case, which should be 6

You end up with 13.333

You have your gross weight of the consumer unit as 80.

Thank you, can you please check this GTIN same error

@voppedisano

You are matching your gross weights. The gross weights for the case and the each cannot be the same.

We need to take the weight of the case and divide it by the number of each in the case

40000772046105  Case11lbs /  the number of each in the case which is 6, equals = 1.83
