Hello,
I am publishing at item that already existed. I just needed to update images and send them back to Kroger with some corrections. I am getting the following error. I emailed ItemMDMVIP@kroger.com and they directed me to hello@1worldsync.com, but haven't gotten a response. I need to be able to submit these items. How do I fix this without generating a new IMF? Thanks.

Was the item set up previously for Kroger with an IMF in any of our systems, please? I was unable to find it in Product Introduction and noticed it was added recently in Item Management.
As long as the item was not previously submitted through our systems, most likely it will need a Submission Reason Code added. We can suggest checking with your Kroger buyer or Category Manager to see if there is a workaround or different way of submitting the item to match the IMF they already have in their systems, please. Otherwise, a new IMF may need to be generated if it already has one.

Hello @carolhunn, thanks for continuing the use the community.
As long as Kroger has already got the item in their systems, please Republish it as Initial Load from the Publications - Manage Publications screen in Item Management. Otherwise, if Kroger does not have it set up in their systems yet, the publication type can be left as New and a Submission Reason Code needs to be added.

Hi @Val - I did as you instructed and got the same error. These items have been selling for years. I cannot submit it as new with a submission reason code since I do not want to generate a new IMF (the new IMF generates a new Kroger item number on their end).

It looks like item 20071072001909 received an IMF from Kroger in April 2021 and that IMF was later rejected in June:
Because it is currently not active in Kroger's systems, it needs to be Republished from Item Mangement as New (from the Publications - Manage Publications screen, please) and then from Product Introduction the Kroger Sales Event details need to be added for a new IMF to be generated, please.

Could this possibly be the solution (Submission Code Reason) for an item that has not yet received and IMF?

Yes, please, if an item (either new or existing) needs an IMF from Kroger, the Submission Reason Code needs to be populated at the published level. This is the trigger the Kroger systems are using to generate the IMF request. For existing items, either new distribution needs to be added for a new IMF, or the previous IMF needs to be rejected for a new one to be assigned by Kroger.

We were told that we needed to go into the Supplier Hub Facilities and add the item there.
