How to enter dimensions when there is more than one set of dimensions for a GTIN

We have some products that are produced at more than one plant. Different plants use different types of cases, with different dimensions. The dimensions are close, but in some instances, there is a greater than 4% difference in the two dimension sets. Does anyone else have this issue? What is the best way to enter the dimensions? Use an average of the two? Use the largest dimensions of the two?

Good morning.  I apologize for the slow response here as I was considering your question.  This question really is best answered by GS1, the standards org for these types of questions.  It is likely they will recommend you use a different case GTIN because of these variations in dimensions.  If the variations also include some weight differences, that can impact supply chain shipping if you have larger boxes than others with the same GTIN.
