I work for a distribution/manufacturer. I am trying to set up 3 unlabeled products for a retailer. When I try to update the case count I receive error messages that say:
"Your parent and child direct link quantities should match your parent Item Total Count of All Products (totalQuantityOfNextLowerTradeItem)".
These products are unlabeled and not linked to eaches. I can't figure out why its doing this or why I can't publish these items with the correct total count.

Hello @SMCGINLEY and welcome to the customer community. Please take a look at your value for totalQuantityOfNextLowerTradeItem on the parent item. If you have nothing linked to it then the value should be 1...

Yes, I had the value as 1 but the broker managing the portal set up for the retailer is telling me he sees the case count as 1. I'm not sure why that is happening. The case count of this specific item is 12. If I put 12 on the Quantity of Next Level GTIN within Inner Pack and 12 on number of base units then wouldn't that show a count of 12 and not 1?

Can you provide me your example parent GTIN so I can take a look and make sure I am providing you the best answer?

Hello, @SMCGINLEY that helps a lot. From a validation standpoint, your hierarchy is correct. Your link qty matches your qty next level items and validates successfully as seen in the screenshot below. If your trading partner is expecting a Case with 12 Eaches, you may need to link an Each GTIN to the Case with a qty of 12 and change the qty next level items on the Case to 12...
