Error Message - Ordering Unit Indicator

nancyVigo

Good morning team!

I have an error message from U.S. Foods regarding Gtin 20071072001909, which is linked to Gtin 10071072001902 (Pack) and Gtin 00071072001905 (Each).

Please, see attached screen shots showing the error message, as well as the Hierarchy for the Case which is marked correctly as the ordering unit.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @nancyVigo, it's great chatting with you again.

Yes, please, it is safe to Withdraw or Delete the Package as long as it has not been requested by the retailer as a separate publication because everything linked below the publication level is received by the company you are publishing to, therefore they already have the Package information.

For example, if you have a Pallet - Case - Package - Each hierarchy and publish at the Pallet level, the retailer received all 4 levels, while if you publish at the Package level again or separately, they receive the Package and the Each again on top of these items already being in their systems from the Pallet publication.

Hope this helps. Thanks!

Hi @nancyVigo, always a pleasure talking with you.

As we reviewed the items provided 20071072001909 CA/ 10071072001902 PK/ 00071072001905 EA. The CA level was successfully published and has a CIC response of  RECEIVED from US Foods, but it seems that the PK was also published to US Foods, and it failed because of the indicators. If the retailer requires the publication from the PK-EA, you would need to update the indicators for invoice, ordering, and dispatch to True and save the PK. Otherwise, you can withdraw the PK level so no more publication errors show up.
Please let us know if any further questions arise.

@George_C, thank you so much for the prompt response and clarification!

So, I can just withdraw the PK publication from U.S. Foods and this will solve the problem, but not affect the CASE that this PACK is linked to?
