Is there a "cheat sheet" of some sort that bridges the gap between the Enhanced and the Classic view? I am currently in webinar training, and it is not making sense.

Finding your perfect Playlist is key to swift attribute navigation.
Attached is a helpful doc where you can filter by attribute/s to see in which Playlists they can be found. (Note: The attachment represents the last tab of our Participant Dictionary (PD). As Playlists are constantly updated, be sure to download the most recent version of the PD by using the search at the top right (of Communities) > typing "Participant Dictionary.")
In this example, I filtered by the attribute name of "Allergen Statement" in Column B. I can see here that I can locate that attribute by using the Food and Beverage Playlist. (Note: Column C becomes useful in the example because I can see the word "component" in the XML name. I will ignore the components because personally because my item is not something like patio furniture or say, a compartmented lunch container including tuna, crackers, and mayo.)
If I want to check out all the attributes in the "Food and Beverage" Playlist, I simply apply the filter in Column A.
Once you've found your dream Playlist/s, be sure to set up default Playlists in Each or Case Preferences under your Profile in Enhanced Item Management (steps picture below). Setting this up will automatically add your favorite Playlists to any new Each or Case Items you create moving forward. Yahoo!
If you ever find that we've misplaced an attribute or you just simply can't find something. You know where to find us!

That would be handy to have. I have found that if a trading partner is asking for an attribute that I can't find in Enhanced Item Management then I go to Classic View and have always been able to find it. Sometimes they are buried within a category. I am not sure if this is what you are asking for or not.....

Good afternoon and thank you for your question and response. I am excited to see users talking to each other here and want to add a little to your conversation. I personally agree with you that until some helpful changes were made in Enhanced IM (EIM) it was really frustrating at times to find certain attributes. Fortunately, our Product team introduced a few static playlists that, if enabled as seen below, will help you find most GDSN attributes.
To answer your question about a mapping document between Classic and EIM, although not a bad idea, we really do not have a solution like that. The disparity between the two versions is larger than it was a year ago and continues to grow as we no longer make updates in Classic. We are working to make it easier for you to get what you need so if there are attributes you are not finding with these playlists enabled, please mention it here in the community or open a ticket with us and we can explore it with you.

I definitely agree that it would be helpful to have a more user-friendly transition from Classic to Enhanced. I found myself trying to navigate the EIM and resorted to finishing the product in Classic since filling out the nutrition attributes is so much easier and faster there.
I am looking forward to any ideas/hints on how to make our experience in EIM more efficient. 🙂

When 1WorldSync removes access to Classic, we will be lost unless they provide a better navigation tool. The "Playlists" were not created with everyone in mind - Hopefully we will get a more user friendly "cheat sheet" that can bridge the gap. I was able to speak with someone after the Professionals training, but not all that is needed was remembered at the time. Let me know if you find something out, and I'll do the same.

I had to go to Classic today for an attribute I could not find in Enhanced. A new window popped up and asked me what attribute I was trying to find. I had not seen that before. I agree with you that the playlists do not cover all needs......

I agree that we will have a difficult time of adjusting to EIM if a "cheat sheet" is not available for us to make a smoother transition. I have tried using EIM, but revert to the Classic all the time. If I find out anything, I will definitely let you know...thanks!

Hello. As Community Manager, I am happy to see conversations like this between our customers. Please keep your feedback coming our way. As 1WS customers, we value your concerns and point of view. I am sharing your feedback with our Product team who mentioned we do not yet have a sunset date for Classic and when we do, we will work to provide education and training and other helpful resources.
