Do you need to republish to recipients if you add a new product image?

If you add new or more images to your item, do you need to republish to a recipient or does it flow through automatically when they refresh their systems?

We have not had the opportunity to speak yet but I wanted to reach out and answer your question. You can choose to update the GTIN in any way you want. The change will flow through to whoever you have that GTIN published with. The GDSN process allows for changes to be sent out to your trading partners.

Hello @Caroline_Lahn welcome to the customer community.  From a GDSN messaging perspective, if you add an image to an item that is successfully pub lished, when you save you will send an update CIN message to all trading partners to which it is published.  The new image will be part of the update.  It is possible that one of your trading partners may ask you to republish to them to reset something on their end but as a general rule, you should not have to do so.

@Caroline_Lahn , I concur with @jcharles and @CommunityJedi22 .  Every time I have updated any item in IM (images, dimensions, etc.), I can promptly see our customers grabbing the updated info. 🙂
