Change of items in Display with same Gtin

Good afternoon team!

We currently have a Mixed Display (Gtin 00071072021897) which will be changing to a single item (instead of three).

I know that I cannot remove hierarchies before unpublishing the Display.  Will we be able to go through the process of unpublishing (by withdrawal), then unlink the items that will no longer be in the Display and publish it back with the same Gtin?

Yes, please. In order to unlink items in the current published hierachy, you first need to Withdraw all publications, then wait 25 hours and then you can update the hierarchy as needed and publish after saving the link changes.
