Additional Description required

Hi There - I have a CIC review code saying "additional description English required" for most of my items, but I DO have that filled in in my Fuse file. Can you advise what else I would need to do to get that CIC to get approved?

Hello @Caroline_Lahn and welcome to our customer community.  Do you have multiple language variations and maybe even additional Target Markets setup for the item?

I do not have multiple languages and I am only set up in 1 target market, I think 🙂

Ok, interesting.  Can you provide an example GTIN so we can take a closer look for you?

Good morning/afternoon- Similar issue. I have tried to update a simple code, but when I hit Save, I get an error saying that I need to complete a description that is unrelated to that field/section (see attached screen caps (trying to remove punctuation following the K#). I have never had to update that ProCode field in any other of our items, and when I do complete it, it still will not Save. I get the same error msg and that field blinks at me. It is for this GTIN: 00733132644421. Thank you.

Hi @Marcy3250! Thanks for reaching out to the Community platform. I have reviewed your item and have noticed that it does now validate successfully with no errors. This is only with the characters ":---" left in the 'Code' field, however. Our suggestion would be to leave these characters in this field as they alleviate this issue. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I can't leave that error, as it won't flow through to GUDID. Am I stuck entering the record manually in GUDID?

Monty, I got your email, and replied, but then no answer. Do I need to manually load this in GUDID since the publishing aspect doesn't work due to that hyphen situation for my license number? Thanks.
