What is Syndigo Foodservice Content?
Syndigo Foodservice content is product content from the product package itself, dimensions, and package weight, verified by the Syndigo team and the Syndigo data quality engine.
What is the Marketplace?
Once a product has been processed for foodservice, the content for that product is accessible within the Marketplace and will flow to the active product tab.
When will my products appear in Marketplace?
Approximately 15 business days (three weeks) after your submission has been received. If items are not processed and in the Marketplace by four weeks, contact Syndigo for an update.

How do I ship my Foodservice Products for Processing?

The physical processing form states to send perishables on Monday or Tuesday, what if they are sent out on another day?
We do not have staff at our warehouse on Saturday or Sunday to properly receive and store your perishable items, therefore we recommend sending perishables at the beginning of the week. Your items may be sent any day that is convenient for you, but items delivered over the weekend will not be processed or received until Monday.

Image Capture
The Standard image offering for foodservice is:
- Closed Case
- Open Case
- Inner Pack (if applicable)
- Raw/Out of Package
Additionally, an Ingredients/Nutrition Facts combination image will be taken if applicable.
Data Capture
Data is captured from all available surfaces of the packaging. This includes:
- Weights and dimensional data of the outer and inner packaging
- Text from the case
- Text from the label
- Text from the inner packs (if applicable)
The quantity and type of data is determined by what is available on the packaging.
Image Editing
Standard Editing
Foodservice receives standard image editing by default.
Premium editing is also available for additional fee for services such as:
- Montage images
- Adding a plate to the raw/out of package image
- Marketing team specific requirements
- Any editing requests outside the standard processing
Stylized Food Photography - (Additional Cost)
- Plating – Ready to eat items with no cooking required and few supporting elements.
- Prepping – 1 Step preparation (warming/melting cheese, brewing coffee), more intricate supporting elements.
- Cooking – Full preparation of an item. This can include grilling, baking, stovetop cooking, large cuts of raw meat that needs intensive preparation, or bulk meats such as turkeys and hams.
