Users can add Nutrition Panels to the lowest level of the hierarchy, which is typically required by recipients for food products.
Populate Nutrition Panel Data Through Single Item Edit
- Navigate to the Products tab.
- Check the box on the lowest level of the product hierarchy of the item you would like to add the nutrition panel for.
- Click Edit.
- Update the requirement set for the recipient you are populating the information for.
- Click Apply.
- Some recipients will require the field Nutrient Format Type Code Reference to be completed prior to filling out the nutrition panel. To find this attribute search for Nutrient in the right hand side of the screen. Once you see the proper field select the appropriate dropdown option that matches the nutrition panel you will be providing information from.
- On the right-hand side of the screen update your search to Nutrition.
- In the Nutrition Panel field, double click 0 Panels.
- Click Add Panel.
- Optionally, in the tab where it shows Panel 1 you can click and rename.
- Fill in all values with a red exclamation mark by clicking on them and providing the appropriate data.
- Fill in either Serving Size or Metric Serving Size.
- The value, with its unit of measure, that forms the basis for referring to the nutrient contents that appear on the product label.
- Fill in Visual Serving Size.
- This is essentially a visual guide to what a serving looks like in real life.
- Fill in Serving Size Description.
- The description or additional information of the serving size for the product.
- Fill in Preparation State.
- This should be the current state of the product.
- Fill in Base Quantity Type.
- This should be by serving, by measure, by package or container, or by child nutrition serving.
- Fill in all values with red exclamations by double clicking, plus any other nutrient relevant values for the remainder of the nutrition panel.
- Scroll down if there are values that may be missing from the panel. You can click on Add Nutrient to search, click to check box 1 or multiple nutrients, then click Add Selected Items to add any additional values you may need to input.
- If you need to add a footnote you can click on Add Footnote.
- Select NoteMark.
- Type in Description.
- Click OK.
- If you need to associate the footnote to a specified value in the column Note Mark, double click and add the same character you used in the footnote.
- Click OK to add the nutrition panel to the item.
- Click Save Changes.
Populate Nutrition Panel Data Through Bulk Item Edit
- Navigate to the Products tab.
- Check the box on the lowest level of the product hierarchy of the item you would like to add the nutrition panel for.
- Click Bulk Edit.
- Update the requirement set for the recipient you are populating the information for.
- Click Apply.
- Some recipients will require the field Nutrient Format Type Code Reference to be completed prior to filling out the nutrition panel. To find this attribute click Jump to Attribute and type Nutrient Format Type Code Reference. Click the option in the dropdown menu to take you to the appropriate field.
- Double click the field under the column header and select the appropriate dropdown option that matches the nutrition panel you will be providing information from.
- Click Jump to Attribute and type Nutrition Panel.
- In the Nutrition Panel Column double click 0 Panels.
- Click Add Panel.
- Optionally, in the tab where it shows Panel 1 you can click and rename.
- Fill in all values with a red exclamation mark by clicking on them and providing the appropriate data.
- Fill in either Serving Size or Metric Serving Size.
- This reflects the amount that people typically eat or drink.
- Fill in Visual Serving Size.
- This is essentially a visual guide to what a serving looks like in real life.
- Fill in Serving Size Description.
- Free form serving information.
- Fill in Preparation State.
- This should be the current state of the product.
- Fill in Base Quantity Type.
- This should be by serving, by measure, by package or container, or by child nutrition serving.
