Please see the new, updated attached Quick Sheet for FUSE
Hello, has anyone exported the serving measures? I'm only getting the item details. There are more than one serving measure attached to an item. Trying to know the list of items which has multiple serving size.
Hello. Thanks for reaching out. We are looking through the export you created and will respond back once we have more information.
Hello. To get a list of the items you will want to make sure that you expand to show all columns. This can be done by clicking on Format and then Auto Fit Column Width with all cells highlighted. Then look for column MOL to see which grouping of rows has multiple values.
I'd like to focus on updating the eComm product attributes for a specific customer. Is there a way to request a Fuse extract by a trading partner GLN to only review the products for that particular customer?
Hi, @JMWardog! Exporting a FUSE spreadsheet only consisting of items going to the same trading partner GLN is possible in Item Management. By selecting the magnifying glass to the right of the Simple Search bar, you can call forth a list of your items. On the left side of the page, you will see the "Advanced Search" window (found under the "Launch Applications" option).
Here, you can specify that you only want the list to call forth items that are published. You can also specify the recipient using the "Recipient" field seen in the image above.
Once all of your desired images are populated, you can select them all and then extract them as usual.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
Hi All- Thank you for the information provided but I have a question regarding mass publication.
The steps you listed only work for 10 GTIN's which will be published for the first time.
What are the steps to publish more than 10 GTIN's? I have a list of 150 GTIN's which need to be republished as Initial Load to a retailer, can you please provide the steps?
Hello @MCervantes and sorry for the delayed response to your question. If you extract an item from IM, you will have the latest FUSE spreadsheet. In the FUSE, if you look at the Publication tab, you can publish many more publications Please be sure to not impact your content on other tabs.
Hi,
We are working on updating our existing listings. I added an item and then downloaded the FUSE to add the rest of the items. Are there specific/mandatory fields that need to get populated?
Hello @YossiNPS149 and welcome back. For synchronization of your products with your trading partners, there are GDSN-specific attributes that are always required, some attributes that are conditionally required based on what values are populated for other attributes, and recipients can request certain attribute values.
To get started, the best practice is to download (extract) an item in IM that is fully completed and use that as a template for future items. In IM, you can add certain playlists for attribution and can download those in your extract as well.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
1009 : GTIN (10653563818383), InformationProvider (0011546000003) TargetMarket (US) combination not present to modify Global Data and TargetMarket Attributes
The Target Market was correct on my FUSE upload sheet
Hello @awilson welcome to the Community. Looking at GTIN 10653563818383 it has not been added to Item Management yet. On your FUSE upload file under the FS_Item tab column B Operation, you have this listed as a Modify action. This action can only be used when the GTIN is already in Item Management. In this case, you would want to use the action Add, this will send the content into Item Mangement to start with.
1. FUSE template is supported on Google Sheet?
2. What is the version we need for Microsoft Excel to use FUSE Template?
Hello,
A FUSE Sheet is supported by Excel only & not Google Sheets. The Excel file will need to be saved as a "XLS". However, as far as what version of Excel is required this depends on your PC and not our actual software.
Thanks
Hello. I would like to make up dates to a FUSE sheet to add five new GLNs (two new Target Markets) AND the First Ship Date Time (this is for pre-existing GTINs). Can I do this using both the "Item" and "Publication" tabs at the same time, or would it be easier to just clone each relevant GTIN, and make each update individually within IM (and then publish to the new GLNs)?
I'm thinking that I need to do the following:
A comment above says not to modify more than one tab at once, but that seems required in this instance....is it possible?
Thank you.
Hi @Marcy3250, welcome back to the Community! As you mentioned, we do not recommend using more than one tab on a FUSE spreadsheet at one time. This is because the desired operations from one tab (or even multiple tabs) can trigger many errors, making it extremely difficult to troubleshoot and solve the issues.
That being said, it is possible to attempt processing multiple tabs at once. I am unsure what you mean when saying, "add five new GLNs", but I am assuming you are referencing adding more Recipient GLNs to publish to in the FUSE. As you mentioned, these would be indicated in the FS_Publication tab.
Regarding your FS_Item tab, keep in mind that you would only need to add a new version of the old item if the TM is new. A new First Ship Date Time can simply be added to an existing item instead of creating a New GTIN for the new First Ship Date Time. Let us know if you need anything else. Thanks!
Would you suggest that I update only the Publication tab first with all new GLNs, then download that new info and "modify" the ship date? Less risky?
Hi Marcy,
Monty suggested doing each tab to minimize confusion with any validation messages, but you can process multiple tabs at once. I recommend adding the content to the Item tab because we would be adding content before we publish the new GTIN to your recipients.
You could add the GLN to the publication tab but do not place the Y in the "Import Item" tab. You can process the Item tab first and then publish it to the new target market.
Let me know if this makes sense to you, I would be more than happy to expand on any points.
How do I generate a FUSE template?
Hello @afletcher and welcome to the customer community. I recommend you look at the attachment in this post for the FUSE Quick Sheet. https://community.1worldsync.com/t5/FUSE-Docs/Documentation-FUSE-Quick-Sheets/ta-p/108
I also recommend you take a look at our getting started with Community space which has some quick and easy notes on how to best leverage it. Here is the one for how to Search: https://community.1worldsync.com/t5/How-to-Get-Started-in-the/How-to-Use-the-Dynamic-Search-Bar/ta-p...

Hi,
I'm looking to update existing items with new features and marketing copy. Is there a way to use the fuse spreadsheet to upload only this data and not all of the other columns and data that comes out of a fuse template export? For example, if I had 150 products that need a new marketing description, can I upload just the marketing description for these products?
Hello @brianna_iversen and thank you for reaching out to our customer community.
When uploading a FUSE file, you need to keep the file's formatting for the system to recognize it.
If you need to update only one or a few specific attributes, you can ignore all other columns (you can also hide them if it helps) and add the information for the items that require the updates only.
You can export all items from Item Management, update only the ones you need to, add Operation Append in column B and Import Item? Y in column C for the ones you need to update and remove all other rows for the items you do not need to update from the spreadsheet.
For more details about the steps in the above paragraph, please find the attached Quick Sheets_IM_Load_Sheet_(FUSE)_2021_FINAL.pdf file in the first post in this thread. Please let us know if this helped or if there is anything else we can assist with.
Is there any quick way to download only Record Type = ITEM?
Hello @ccarvalhal,
Welcome back to the Community!
The export of an item will generate a spreadsheet containing all its data: item data (ITEM rows, MORE records- if applicable), Links (if applicable), Publications (if applicable). This file setting cannot be edited when exporting the GTIN.
You can find the instructions on the ways to generate the export listed in the IM Quick Sheets document attached to this article.
I hope this helps and please let us know if you have any questions.
If I do export all items to have a Load Sheet template.
1) Can I delete all rows to add new ones with attributes updates?
2) What information shall I keep further than the headers once i want to upload the document?
Hello @LuisalbaMunoz and thanks for reaching out through our Community.
You can export a smaller number of items if you need to work with less items in the spreadsheet and you can also delete rows if there are too many items in the file that you exported compared to the number of items you need to add/modify as it would make it easier to navigate through the file.
After downloading a Load Sheet, I would recommend to ensure all headers remain intact and to update the existing populated attributes with correct/new data rather that deleting them as it would make it a bit more difficult to know what data to fill out. Please let me know if this helps. Thank you!
@Julie thank you for your quick response.
I will try to explain an scenario to be more precise.
If I want to add a new allergen which is a variable within Nutritional info.
Being short, including a new multi-value attribute. that has not been added yet.
As I have to create a new row for entering the new information my question is:
Shall I keep all the items' rows:
"Item" row + "more" rows + add a new "more" row with the new info ("append" + "y" + "groupbreak" + the new allergen info)
When I add the new row ("append" + "y" + "groupbreak" + the new allergen info) shall I fill out additional basic information as well on the same row?
What basic information we should keep when applying a modification?
Hello @LuisalbaMunoz and thank you for providing additional details.
When adding additional data (such as allergens, nutrients), you would add them in the MORE row without adding any other data that you don't need in that specific row.
I've added a screenshot below where a customer has provided 9 allergens and 15 nutrients to their trading partner, the first allergen/nutrient is added to the ITEM row and the rest are added to the MORE row without filling out any other data.
If extra nutrients would need to be added, the operation would need to be APPEND + add MORE row/s and populate only the attributes needed, please see screenshot below where I added "FAMS" as a nutrient:
Please let me know if this helps, thank you!
Thank you for reaching out @Julie I do appreciate your help.
Good morning, @Julie
I have tried to upload for testing 3 new allergen type codes for a certain GTIN.
- Indicator for new group added
- Allergen type codes added
- Allergen containment code added
Record type used: "More"
Operation used: "Append"
Import item used: : "y"
Error obtained is SLTL0017 : The file could not be processed because the file is empty when uploaded.
Can you please assist?
Hello @LuisalbaMunoz, please make sure to leave any other rows in the file untouched when adding extra data. I've re-attached information from the Documentation - FUSE Quick Sheets:
Record Type = ITEM display the attributes populated for the corresponding Item ID (GTIN).
Record Type = MORE display any multiple values for the corresponding Item ID (GTIN) in the above ITEM row. E.g. Total Sugar, Total Fat etc. are Nutritional attributes and those multiple values will show up in their own MORE row for each additional value populated. Make any necessary updates to the data in the corresponding columns and rows. Use copy/paste or drag values down the columns as needed to simplify the data entry process.
Set the Operation column to MODIFY or APPEND. Update the “Import Item” value to Y for the corresponding ITEM rows you will load.
Item Management needs the ITEM row to identify the GTIN that is currently being updated. Export the item you wish to update, the operation for the ITEM row would need to be APPEND and Import Y then add MORE row/s for the additional data needed and only fill out those attributes that you are adding to the already existing product data. Thank you!
Hello,
I am on the One Sync portal now and I was wondering if there is a way to download all the active items at one time, if so can I please have the instructions to do so.
Hi @dkeagy.
Thank you for reaching out to our customer community. Welcome. To download all the active items at once you can use the export function in the Item Management. You will search for all your items, under the item management, at the top middle of the page you will have a search bar, once you click on the search button at the end this will show you all your items. You can check the list of items to the left and above you can also check all items(the number of items you have in total), and then you have an option to Export Data. Once that is done a spreadsheet will be generated and you will be notified via email.
You can also check our available documentation under Documentation - FUSE Quick Sheets.
Thank you.
Is there a place where the difference between Add, Modify, Append is explained? I couldn't find it on the pdf.
Hello @mwojtas_ms and welcome to the customer community. Thanks for reaching out.
"Add" needs to be used for adding new items.
"Modify" and "Append" need to be used for editing already existing items. The difference between them is that "Append" does not remove any information from Item Management if you remove an attribute and leave the field blank in the Spreadsheet, while "Modify" removes the information in Item Management if you leave a field blank in the FUSE file.
Please let us know of this helped or if there is anything else we may help with for this request. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
Good morning team!
I have not used the FUSE Load Sheet before and was wondering if this would be a good tool to use to add the FSMA204 requirements to our products (over 1,000 items).
Even though our products are not on the FTL, we have been advised to fill out the added attributes to let our customers know that our items are not covered by FTL.
For what I gather from previous messages, it does not appear possible to only choose these particular attributes to upload to FUSE.
Your help is greatly appreciated, as always.
Hello @nancyVigo, it’s great chatting with you again.
If you need to mass update your items then yes, using the FUSE Load Sheet would be the most efficient option for you.
When uploading a FUSE file, you will need to upload the entire file, but you can choose to add/update only select attributes for your items. In Column B for "Operation" you can choose either "Append" or "Modify" and in Column C for "Import item?" you need "Y" (for "Yes") along with the specific attributes you are looking to add.
Please let us know of this was useful for you or if there is anything else we may help with for this request. Thank you and have a wonderful day and rest of the week ahead!
@Val_P, thanks for the prompt response. I will some more into this by checking on the paperwork I copied from the Community.
Have a great afternoon!
Hello - when uploading the FUSE template and there are errors on only some items, will the information for the other items that do not have any errors still make it into IM?
Thanks!
Hello @WellsDataSync, thanks for continuing the use of the community.
Yes, the items that were added correctly in the FUSE Load Sheet and are passing validations will update in Item Management, even if on the same file there are other items that fail validations or were not added successfully, if the successfully added items are in front of the ones failing in the FUSE file.
Thanks!
