Synchronizing your product content with Wakefern requires some unique processes if you need to make changes to an item that is published and not yet approved by Wakefern. Below is a screen capture from the attached Wakefern Implementation Guide that discusses how they require customers to republish any changes as part of their New Item Setup Process. Wakerfern does not process GDSN Modifies (updates) until it is complete on their end and if any change is not republished, you will likely see a Rejection for the item.
The good news is you can simply republish after making changes and if your item is rejected via Manage Publications in IM:
You can learn more about how the Republish functionality is a unique feature for 1WorldSync Customers HERE.
I am new to 1WS and my role. To set up a new item for Wakefern, can I do all this in 1WS? Does Wakefern require suppliers to use Nielsen Brandbank for content? We have 38 items published to Wakefern already. I have 2 new items to setup for Wakefern and my predecessor was using Brandbank to setup content. Can I do all this in 1WS? Or do I need to use Nielsen Brandbank? Thanks for help.
@akraft, thanks for reaching out to the Community! Unfortunately, we can not advise on the benefits of using Brandbank for content, as we are not affiliated with them in any way. You would need to reach out to Wakefern to confirm whether or not using Brandbank during the synchronization process is needed. I can confirm that 1 World Sync is capable of hosting and sending item data (including images) to Recipients such as Wakefern. Whether or not there is more needed, possibly on Brankbank platforms, Wakefern would need to confirm this.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
