Populating the Import Classification Type and Value Attributes for Lowe's

Lowe’s requires suppliers to provide the “Import Classification Type” and "Import Classification Value" on every GTIN in a hierarchy published to them.

In Enhanced Item Management (EIM), make sure you activated the Lowe’s Playlist > search for the “Import Classification Type” attribute and select it in the search results > EIM will present this attribute to you > In the Import Classification Type attribute, please select one of the values Lowe's accepts for this attribute.   

Please note, Lowe's uses the Country of Origin, Import Classification Type and Import Classification Value in attributes in tandem.  If your product is imported into the United States, please use the value “Harmonized Tariff of the US” for the attribute Import Classification Type.  If your product is imported to a country other than the US, please use the value “Customs Tariff Number.”
