Populating the Country of Origin Attribute for Lowe's

Lowe’s requires suppliers to provide the “Country of Origin” on every GTIN in a hierarchy published to them.

In Enhanced Item Management (EIM), make sure you activated the Lowe’s Playlist > search for the “Country of Origin” attribute and select it in the search results > EIM will present this attribute to you > In the Country of Origin attribute, please select the country from which your products are produced.  

Please note, Lowe's uses the Country of Origin attribute in tandem with the "Import Classification Type" attribute.  If the Country of Origin is different than your product Target Market, please populate Import Classification Type and Import Classification Value just to the right. 

If your product is imported into the United States, please use the value “Harmonized Tariff of the US” for the attribute Import Classification Type.  If your product is imported to a country other than the US, please use the value “Customs Tariff Number.”
