Products shown in the Recommends programs are outdated, why?

  • If the incorrect products are shown in the logo recommendations program, check to make sure that your catalog is up to date.

    1. Go to My Catalogs tab
    2. Open your catalog and click view products
    3. If you have more than one catalog, check each catalog for the outdated skus.
    4. Once you are in the product list you can search by manufacturer name or manufacturer part number.
    5. You can delete the outdated products that you do not want to show.

To avoid manually updating the products in the future, it is highly recommended that you have your catalogs updated automatically by downloading from a FTP server.

What is the benefit of uploading product catalogs?

  • There are multiple benefits to upload your product catalogs:
    1. Catalogs are used for all programs that display cross-sell or up-sell items such as Brand Showcase, Product Finders, Selectors, Inline Manufacturer recommendation programs, Microsoft Office and Windows Server Logo, HP Supplies and Accessories and more.
    2. Catalogs allow product filtering to only display the products you carry, to render the product URL links, sku pricing, inventory and other required information to enable the Cart Integration.
    3. Uploading a catalog will also help provide visibility into content coverage to identify how many products will display rich inline content or the various logo programs.
  • None of the information in your catalog will be sold or shared with 3rd parties.
