Sheet data loading error PI8201

While trying to import data from a sheet I am getting an error message:

PI8201 : Item xxxxxxxx is not currently in the system, so it cannot be modified. Note: Only items with target market ‘US’ are accessible within SDL. This item will not be processed.

I am getting this error after finally clearing out all other errors, can someone please explain if this can be bypassed?

Hello and thank you for reaching out to us via our customer community.  Kroger accepts items from Target Market US so please be sure your published GTINs to Kroger are for Target Market US only.  You can create a US version in IM quite simply and send that to Kroger.

Hello, you can certainly create new items by downloading the erroneous one, changing what you need it to be, and creating a new item based on the original.  If the erroneous item was saved in IM you are unable to change the actual 14-digit GTIN number for that item.
