We have published 2 new displays (highest hierarchy) to Wakefern and the EAs included in the display. We are now being asked to publish at the case level too. Is this truly necessary? The displays are only able to be ordered at the display level (not at the case or ea).

The retailer can request to receive your information as is useful and convenient for them, in case they need to use it in the future. Some Displays for example can be replenishable and the retailers may later, instead of ordering the entire Display, just order the items inside it. This is just an example, it does not mean that is the case here.
Wakefern will be able to help with more details about the reasoning behind their request. If they require the Cases to also be published, it is best to follow their request to make sure your items are synchronized and then ordered as intended.
