Working with Wakefern Datasync to Publish Easter 2023 items as New, after several attempts they shared the below image with me. What is happening with this item during transition from Item Management to PI that makes it show as Modified instead of NEW? Wakefern did change the CIC status prior to last Publication.
It is urgent that we get some kind of assistance today, 9/20/22, if possible as Wakefern needs to have Easter 2023 items set up in their system by week end. Thanks.

Hello @Tkentosh and thank you for using the Customer Community. Welcome. First, based on your question, let me clarify an important point in case it is not a typo. Wakefern does not use PI/VIP so I will proceed with my answer assuming you meant to say "IM" instead of "PI" in your question. I took a look for you and believe I found the issue for your questions about the GDSN message choreography. Before that, however, were you able to work with Wakefern to understand what they need you to change as it related to their Review message? If that is updated on your end, you can follow the steps below:
1) In IM, go to Publications and then Manage Publications
2) Search by your publication level GTIN, select it in the results and click republish the item. In the popup window, click Republish as New.
It appears you published this item on September 15, which created a successful CIN message, to which they sent a Review message. YOu made an update which sent a Modify with your updates to Wakefern. I see you tried to publish a few times after that but they did not create a CIN message to Wakefern because it was already published. If you need to publish again over an existing publication, you use the Republish functionality in IM to override previous pubs.

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes - I am in IM not PI, sorry for the confusion!
I have asked my DataSync contact at Wakefern why the CIC status is in REVIEW, but haven't received a response. The last time this happened, it was due to the Modify status shown in the original email. I had forgotten about the Republish connection on a received item. I have taken that step now and hopefully will push the item through at the correct status this time.
Suggest for the next update - add the Republish Button to the PUBLISH click box in IM - sure would be a lot easier for us users!
