changing the size and UPC code on an item

The manufacturer of an item has changed the can, label and UPC for an existing item.  do I have to start new or can I just change the information for the existing item?

I have reviewed your request, and because the UPC/Barcode of your item will change, you will need to create a new item. This is necessary because the GTIN will also change. Below, I have attached an article that explains the situations in which you need to create a new GTIN.
