Hello,

My Kroger buyer is asking for the IMF #.

I cannot seem to find this information.

Item ID is 00810077601648

I believe I have fixed all errors.

Please advise.

Thank you!

@Haute, good morning!

After publishing the item is 1WS, topping it off in VIP, and successfully submitting it in the portal, you should get the IMF number.

Please, see link below to a Community article that explains how to find it:

@Haute Welcome to the customer community.  Thanks for reaching out.

From what I can see the item has been published to Kroger but was not topped off and the Kroger Hierarchy Data page is empty

Captureexmaple.PNG

You would need to log into Product Introduction https://1worldsync.com/login/  , choose Kroger as the option you want to go into and use the GTIN quick search to look for the item you published to Kroger.

You would then need to click on the item and add the data Kroger needs to be added to the Kroger Hierarchy Data page. Here is a guide that explains that process in greater detail https://community.1worldsync.com/t5/IM-to-VIP-Training/101-Basic-Hierarchy-Level-Data-in-Product-Int....

Once you do that and after you validate the item you can submit it so that Kroger may review it and decide to assign it an IMF(Item Maintenance Form) number.

If you have any further questions please let me know. Thank you and have a great day.

Hello,

Thank you for the information.

I need to add additional hierarchy data.  Can you help with the following:

  • Kroger Dispatch Unit Initial List Cost – one case would have 3 units of all 6 items ( 18 units total in the case) which comes to $139.35 + shipping.  5% ship charge is $6.97.  So is the correct number to enter here $139.35 + $6.97 = $146.32?
  • Hierarchy level product type – that would be case in this instance.
  • Kroger Dispatch Unit Promotional Cost – not sure about this.  Is it N/A?
  • Transportation Options – I am assuming it would be truck and we would ship on a pallet?
  • Order lead time and unit of measure – I was going to put 7 days.  Your thoughts?
  • Initial Corporate Average List cost – no idea here
  • Promotional cost – no idea. I assume none?
  • Mfr. Suggested retail price – not sure  what to put here since I am adding information for the case and they will not be selling as a case. Harris Teeter will be selling the individual units.

Also, please see the attached screenshot. I get this message when I try to validate the case information.

I appreciate your assistance and I hope we can get this finalized soon!

Thank you for reaching out to our customer community.  Welcome.

We use hover text in IM and PI so you can hover your mouse over an attribute name for further details as to what that attribute is asking for, for example:

Kroger Dispatch Unit Initial List Cost - this is the initial cost you charge Kroger for the dispatch unit per region and distribution channel:

Please review the hover text for any attribute(s) in question.

As for the error you receive when attempting to validate at the Kroger Hierarchy Data level, there are 2 sets of validation rules that run for hierarchies, 1 set of validation rules for each individual item, then hierarchy validation rules for the hierarchy overall (Case and all Each items linked), you must validate each individual Each item in order to Save successfully, otherwise, they save as Draft, once you validate each individual Each item, then validate at the Kroger Hierarchy Data level (in this case there are still validation errors for each individual Each item so all are saved as Draft currently).

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hello @Haute ,

I recommend reviewing the Kroger Training Videos, which are designed to guide you through the Kroger submission process.

The hierarchy data is based on the information you have about your product. This includes the cost Kroger has set with you and your team.

  • Kroger Dispatch Unit Initial List Cost: The cost of the CASE.
  • Hierarchy Level Product Type: This is a dropdown menu. You should only have one selection, which is your dispatch unit. Dispatch Unit = CASE.
  • Kroger Dispatch Unit Promotional Cost: The cost of the CASE.
  • Transportation Options: This information isn't needed unless you deliver the products to Kroger yourself. If they go to a DC, you can skip this section.
  • Order Lead Time and Unit of Measure: This would be your order lead times.
  • Initial Corporate Average List Cost: Cost of the EACH.
  • Promotional Cost: ALWAYS 0.
  • Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price: The MSRP your team has set for your product.

The screenshot error indicates that you have saved all your GTINs as DRAFT. You need to click into each one and hit the SAVE & CONTINUE button.

Thank you for all the information.  I will watch the videos.

Next question. I am editing the items trying to get them to validate successfully.

What is the correct answer to this drop-down?

Data Carrier Type Code

Thanks,

Bruce

Hi @Haute

Typically the Each (consumer unit) is UPC A (scannable at register) and Case (non consumer unit) is ITF 14 (not scannable at register)

Hello.  Please see message below I am receiving in VIP. Am I successfully validated?

  • KR1324 The brand/sub-brand for this item(s) (00810077601648) has not been seen in VIP previously. For New items, a new brand name will create a new pricing group within Kroger systems. Please verify and correct your Brand/Sub-Brand name if necessary. For this GTIN, you will continue to receive this message until you confirm the new brand at the hierarchy level.
  • PI5109 Please note that changing these attributes will send a "Correction" to the retailer: Category Code, Qty of Next Level Item(s), Net Content (if change > 20%), Net Content UOM, Price Comparison Measurement, Price Comparison Measurement UOM, Product Type, Brand Name, Net Weight, Net Weight UOM, EANUCC Code, EANUCC Type, Brand Owner GLN , Height (if change > 20%), Depth (if change >20%), Width (if change > 20%), Gross Weight (if change > 20%), Canceled Date and Discontinued Date.
  • Successfully Validated!

Hello @Haute

The green check mark next to the message always means APPROVED.

This message is simply indicating that your item is NEW to the Kroger VIP portal and that you've made updates to attributes required by Kroger.

"Successfully Validate" is a positive sign.

Just click "validate" again, and the message will disappear.
