When to publish?

When do you publish an item?  I have entered 9 "each" products and linked them to 9 "case" objects.  I need to enter "pallets" and link those as well.

I am unclear on when to publish the items I have created.

Hello and welcome to our Community. You would publish the item once you have it all built and linked together, in this instance pallet, case, and each. Once all are built and linked together you would also want to make sure each level of the hierarchy and the hierarchy itself, the links, validates successfully.

I have an item (a case) that I have cloned from an each.  I cannot see that it is saving.  The SAVE icon has a flashing green border around it and I don't seem to be making an progress on it.  I have entered the same info over and over and it will not save.  Please help.  Thank you.

I finally figured it out.  It depends on how you click on the SAVE button.  You have to click on the border of the SAVE button to make it turn blue and save.  If you click on the center of the SAVE button, it flashes green and does not save.  That might be a helpful thing to include in the training.  Thank you.
