Hello @nj73 and welcome back. Yes, you can remove content, but please be careful you understand the difference between Modify and Append and what should be populated on the tabs. Here is a helpful FUSE Quick Sheet, and HERE you can see much more content on how to use FUSE.

Thank you. I am trying to make sure that I have all the data for all the products. I find I have missed some things here and there and want to add those in. The data I want to remove is just in one column where something has changed and what is there no longer applies. As I understand it, Modify will replace everything. So, I have added the missed data to an exported sheet. IF I delete the data from that one column and do not need to replace it, will it remove only that all in the same operation?

Hello, and I appreciate the cautious follow-up question. First, I recommend trying this with one item and once successful, try with other items as needed. Yes, if you remove the value from an exported item FUSE (remove the value, not the column, just to clarify), and upload it as a Modify, it will remove the value for that attribute.

Thank you. I am debating whether to use Modify or Append and make the deletions manually. When you use Append, you don't need to delete the data from the FUSE sheet that is already in the item and will remain in the item and leave only things to add to the item data, do you? Also, I have highlighted areas in the FUSE sheet where I found missing information to ensure I didn't miss anything. Do I need to remove the highlighting before uploading? Thank you.

Hi @nj73, thanks for your continued use of the Community. If you are using the Append action for FUSE it will only look at and update information that has changed in the FUSE file compared to what is already in Item Management. Changes to the file, such as highlighting cells, will not have an impact on the import of the FUSE file.

Thank you! That helps.
