Is there a way to customize a sales slick?

Hey there @SKveton! I am the product manager for Item Management and Digitial Catalog at 1WorldSync. I wanted to add some context as well as answer your question. Sales Slick was created as a small piece of another 1WorldSync tool, Digital Catalog.

We added Sales Slick generation into Item Management as a value add for customers with their IM subscription but also as a preview to Digital Catalog. Sales Slick is a standardized one-pager that has fixed attributes and layout. So as far as customizing that, today, it isn't possible.

However, within Digital Catalog there is capability to create your own templates which include attributes, layout, inline/below-the-fold content, logos, coloring, and much more all while leveraging all the great data you input into IM. I believe what you are asking for would be covered within Digital Catalog and if you haven't seen that tool please reach out to your 1WorldSync account manager and more than happy to set something up.

We will continue looking at opportunities to advance the Sales Slick, but just wanted to make mention of that capability existing in Digital Catalog. I hope this helps. Thanks!

Hi, @SKveton. Thanks for reaching out on our customer Community platform! Unfortunately, the data that is shown in a Sales Slick is gathered from the data that was input into our system, so there is currently no way to make changes to it once it has been exported.

Are there any plans to change this? We add so much information/attributes it is shame what a sales slick actually outputs. And the layout is really ackward with so much blank space in the middle.

Hello @SKveton . Yes, you can customize what appears on the DC sales slick. The answer below is correct that once exported into a pdf the content can not be changed. However, you decide what attributes and images are on the slick and when you change information in IM, it can change the slick the next time it is pulled and any time the URL is accessed. I hope that clarifies this for you.

We asked our Product team to comment on any potential changes and will let you know as soon as we have anything else. I hope this helps.
