Pub delete error

Hello

I have 2 items that are linked to the wrong Child.  I deleted the Publication yesterday.  It should be complete by now, right?  It is showing

Publication DELETE for 10032020006004(US) was successful and
Publication DELETE for 10032020003003(US) was successful

When I try to unlink the Child, it gives me the error

You have errors requiring your attention

ITEMS CANNOT BE SAVED UNTIL THESE ERRORS ARE RESOLVED

1 Error

This link cannot be deleted as one of the parent GTIN is published.

Once the publications are Withdrawn/Deleted, 25 hours need to pass for the hierarchies to become editable again. For mroe details, we have an article here explaining this here: When Do I Have to Wait 25 Hours to Update My Item/Hierarchy?

For item 10032020006004 you have the Withdrawal on 22-Jan-2025 at 11:54:45 Central and for item 10032020003003 on 22-Jan-2025 at 11:54:45 Central. So, starting from 12:55 Central today, you can edit the hierarchies as intended.

I have a published display that has 3 linked products but the qty's are incorrect. Do I have to unpublish this display, wait 25 hours to edit and republish? If that is the case, will it be an inactive item for the retailers during that time?

Hello @KrackCorn1 and thank you for reaching out to our customer community.  Welcome.

Yes, both statements are correct. If an item is published, when you need to update its linked quantities, all publications need to be withdrawn and the heirarchy links can be updated once the 25 hours pass since withdrawing. In the meantime, the items will also show up as no longer published on the retailer's side as well.
