Image resolution

Good morning,

My images are showing up in IM with 118x118 dpi file resolution description when they are 300x300 dpi.

The File Resolution Description box is greyed out, unlike the other attributes.

This is for item 00030800300086.

I've attached a screen shot of the properties for this specific item in question.

There are several items being flagged with this same issue, and all of our items are 300x300dpi.

Can you please help me get this resolved so these can flow through correctly to Kroger?

Thanks in advance!

See the attachment where it shows cm in metadata. Is there a way to switch from cm to dpi?

I'm really confused because some of our images are passing through even though they have the exact same numbers.

Is this something I should talk to Kroger about?

These are good questions I am looking into for you.

Thank you so much for all your time!

I really appreciate it!

Good morning,

Thank you for your help, however, this isn't working.

I have our photographer in here and she noticed when we use the link you provided above the resolution unit iis in cm and we do inches.

Could this be the issue?

We did load one of our images into the link and it came up 118 for both x & y.

Hello, yes, I believe the issue could be in the conversion for the units of measure.

Thank you!

What can we do to resolve this?

The link I shared last week is a good example of how DAM will also see and access your image.  Since what it (and Dam) are reading is different than what you see, can you try converting on your end and send again?

What confuses me so much is why are some of our image right, and some are wrong when they are all the exact same when they're uploaded?

Why or how does it pick select images out of a group?

Also, Kroger is asking us to remove all images that are NOT 300 x 300 dpi.

What I am wondering is, when you correct one of the ones we have been discussing, whether it is actually at the resolution needed.  We will see when we are talking apples to apples.  Please let us know
