Gordon Foods Help...

Hello, 

I'm trying to publish, 3 to start with, items to Gordon Foods. They say failing per GFS contact.  I didn't at all see any error messages in the worklist (no red/yellow notification), until i realized, if i clicked on them, it actually did say things. Alot of things!! 😞   I see that alot of the notes say, Data Recipient...i figure them..should answer. I'm the data provider..or whatever the term is correct? 

So, i can't seem to understand what they need from me.  I have again 3 items, same messages. They actually talk about FSMA204 which, believe it or not, i did take care of for Sysco i believe(at the each levels?) .  So, the messages, are way confusing. I need help trying to decipher, what i'm supposed to do to satisfy these error messages...and at the same point, i think these error messages aren't asking me to fix them? it says data recipient, which should be GFS? No? Other errors say, Lifespan? we do fill in shelf life...and i see inner case dimensions? I found that out..but, i feel like, are they really asking for that? Just confusing as all heck! 

Can I give the 3 gtins to start with(we have deductions because of these 3), and ask if someone can look at these?

Hello @jackieb, thanks for continuing the use of the community.

The page that helps you the most in such cases from Item Management is the Sync Status Report as this will tell you, after publishing and receiving a Review message from your retailer, which attributes are still being requested on top of what was already provided.

For example, for item 00613008735449 GFS sent the following:

 The inBoxCubeDimension attribute is Volume in Item Management in the Weights and dimensions section. Please make sure to add this and the Unit of Measure on your Case.

The tradeItemDateOnPackagingTypeCode attribute is Packaging Date Type Code. You can also use the Item Attribute Sets to easily locate attributes:

The minimumTradeItemLifespanFromTimeOfArrival attribute is Minimum Days of Shelf Life at Arrival:

For the FSMA204 message, the only piece of information you are missing on the Each is the 

Regulation Compliance Indicator attribute, please:

You can follow the same steps for the other 2 items and use the Attribute Sets search for keywords from the attributes retailers send you in their Reviews. Please let us know if this helped or if you come across other issues for this request. Thanks!

Hi Val, or I did get an email asking..I can't say i know if these satisfied the problem.  I actually only did one part of the instructions above.  I can't seem to find if this did make any difference.  I thank you for the help though.  I will definitely have to get back on this.  We had gotten a deduction because of it.

OMG Val!! You are stuck with me.   Besides the Wakefern issue, i am also having the issue, that i can't see why Gordon Foods 2 out of 3 items i had issues with, are not getting fixed?  I believe you said, we don't work with them, so we can't really help? Or can you? My issue is, they wanted me to add the FSMA204 info...and i did that.  I see it..but i have 2 items, that still won't come out of being failures.  They did in fact, send me a chart that shows me what is wrong. I have a few items sent, but 3 were most important.  1 did get passed...2 will not.  And i did what they asked!  What do you suggest with that?  I did these last week.  And today, she see's no changes.  FRUSTRATING!  Any help you can give me, is greatly appreciated.  Again it was for the FSMA204 area's, and i did the attributes from above.

Hello @jackieb, thank you for your reply. 

Please make sure that both Case and Each levels have the FSMA204 set of attributes added. 

For your item 00613008735432, please add the following attribute:

The item 00613008735487 is missing all the attributes in the Regulatory Information section, and the corresponding Each 00613008735470 needs to have the attribute below corrected. The correct value should be NOT_COVERED_BY_FTL:

OOH, OK, see, I forget which customer, but there was one that said just the each...but, even so, i thought i had them all at each/case levels.  

after this, do you suppose the items will then be passed and not fail?  

THANK YOU AGAIN, i made these corrections.  do you think i could have you check me again? 

These 3 items, were involved in a dispute, and my company is looking for credit back.  I've been at this for weeks.  I did believe, i had made these changes? I guess not...womp womp...

did i have to republish? or these would go over on their own after saving?

Hello @jackieb and thank you for the follow-up. Welcome back to our community.

00613008735449 and 00613008735487 now have the required FSMA204 mandatory attributes and they have been submitted from IM to Gordon Food Service.

00613008735463 does not have the FSMA attributes entered on any hierararchy level, so this needs fixed please if you need to sync the item successfully with GFS. It also does not have a Review message, but it has not been updated since 2025-06-17 in IM in general. 

For Gordon's, Republishing is not needed, please, this is a necessary step only for Wakefern if the item you are looking to update was not previously fully set up with them. Thanks!

I'm a little crazy with this!   LOL. I swear I am entering the info, like, it feels like repeatedly oover and over?  I will do the missing again.  I am not being fresh, i'm just not understanding. I feel the program is playing with me!  hehehe.  I will go at it again.  

Yes, we have 2 things going on...Wakefern definitely had these in their system to begin with. They did not get back to me on whether they can change something on their own, or did, they were going to try.
