FSMA204 Regulations follow up - PFG requirement

Good afternoon team!

We attended the webinar regarding the FSMA204 regulations and we were told that we only needed to fill out the required attributes for the lowest hierarch (EACH).

However, after filling them out for Performance Food Group (PFG), we were asked to fill them out for the CASE as well.

Would you know if this will eventually be the requirement for all companies?

Hello @nancyVigo, it is great chatting with you again. 

Filling out the FSMA204 mandatory requirements is needed on base units of hierarchies (usually  Eaches) in general. Different retailers may have different requirements and may also request more information on different hierarchy levels and this is up to each retailer.

When we have an update regarding a company's requirements, we will add the new information in the Implementation or Attribute guides or, sometimes, if it is an important attribute affecting many items, create a new article. 

If this becomes a requirement for all companies, the we will notify everyone publicly in the community. Until then, feel free to add the FSMA204 attributes on the base levels of your hierarchies, except for where requested otherwise by certain retailers, like PFG in this case.

I will follow your advice and fill out the FSMA204 attributes for the CASE and EACH as requested by PFG.
